Vision:

For SKCAC Industries and Employment Services to lead our community in developing opportunities for people with disabilities to fully participate in all aspects of community life. We see people with disabilities making choices from a full range of options in employment, social, recreational, health, education and living opportunities. We envision an accessible community, free of barriers, shared by accepting and supportive fellow community members.

Values:

SKCAC provides the highest quality services and products to our program participants, businesses and government entities while providing people with diverse abilities the opportunity for full community inclusion.

The values that drive us are:

Honor and respect. We approach our program participants with understanding. We provide choice, confidence, meaning, and opportunity to their lives.
Support. We empower our participants with a focus on environments that are safe and supportive.

Integrity. We seek for our participants, customers and
stakeholders to be confident in our programs and services.

Diversity. We value in our organization and services a reflection of our community and all perspectives allowing us to make more informed decisions.

Inclusion. We strive for full participation and engagement with community for participants and other interested parties.

SKCAC Employment Services, comprised of twenty staff members providing employment and community inclusion supports to over 225 program participants. We are proud to offer our services throughout King County.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving people with disabilities since 1967. We are governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees.

We provide on-going support to people with disabilities and businesses. The success of our participants is largely attributed to the thoughtful planning with job seekers and the support of businesses committed to diversity and including people with disabilities in their workforce.

SKCAC Production Services provides on-site packaging, assembly and fulfillment services, meeting the needs of our packaging and assembly customers, locally, statewide and beyond. Employing a diverse workforce, this line of business helps to support our mission and provide employment and training opportunities.

We believe in providing opportunities for people to be employed, earn wages, gain independence, meet personal employment goals and be fully included where we all live, work and play.
